ORDER FORM and User License Agreement for Purchasing Bilingual, Trilingual, Quadrilingual or Multilingual Biomedical-Technical Dictionary
Data® for personal use of an individual person (translator). "You" means one individual buyer of the Multilingual Biomedical-Technical Dictionary/Thesaurus (not a corporation). Corporate buyers can request a copy of our
CORPORATE LICENSE AGREEMENT by email. You agree that all rights to publish, sell and market the MBTD/T are owned by André Fairchild. This Agreement does not grant you any
intellectual property rights to any part of the Biomedical Dictionary/Thesaurus®. You will not receive any printout or book but you may choose, on
your own, to print all or part of the dictionary you will receive.
André Fairchild grants you an exclusive license to receive the MBTD/T by email attachment and to copy it onto your computer subject to the following conditions: You may NOT provide copies of the MBTD/T data to others. You must not allow anyone to make a copy of the MBTD data.
You are not allowed to distribute any copy of the MBTD/T data to anyone, for any reason. This Agreement licenses You to receive and use the MBTD/T data provided to You by André Fairchild in any way you see fit, short of making
copies for other persons or companies. On request, you may receive updated and expanded versions of the Multilingual Biomedical Dictionary/Thesaurus data
every two months for one full year. Please keep André Fairchild advised of your current email address if you wish to receive such updates. You may not allow only ANY employee of your organization to use Your copy of the Dictionary on Your computer: this is allowed by André Fairchild.
Corporate Licensing contract is available and negotiable.
If it should become evident or apparent to André that You have distributed copies of the data to other parties, or allowed anyone to copy
the Multilingual Biomedical Dictionary/Thesaurus data, legal action may result, and all support/updates will cease immediately. You may
not allow anyone to make a copy of the MBTD/T data. You are not allowed to distribute any copy of the MBTD/T data or dictionary to anyone;
it is for your personal use only.

The dictionary database you receive will contain at least
38,100 complete entries in each language (except for Italian, Finnish and Swedish).
In our current main database, 37,470 (or 97%) of those entries have Swedish equivalents,
and we have been adding Italian entries. But only 60% of these entries currently have
Italian equivalents roughed in (still in rough draft). French subset includes over 38,850 entries.
Sorry, but we do NOT accept scanned facsimiles of the User License Agreement nor any faxed version.

a. You may install it on your personal computer and using it as a dictionary in any way you wish.
b. You are free to modify, augment or edit this biomedical dictionary any way

c. You are free to copy and paste as many relevant entries from it as you may need for your work.
d. You are free to incorporate it into your own Trados, Déjà Vu, WordFast or other translation tools,
for your own personal use, but Not for any other translator to use.
e. You may copy the MBD/T data ONLY for reasonable backup precautions, but not for redistribution.
Under this Single-User License Agreement, you may not incorporate our biomedical database into your commercial software development project or commercial application.

Due to the large size of our complete, 9-language Excel database (22 MB), subsets of it can be emailed to you in two halves on request.
