Here is a shot of the panel decals I
added. They're not functional, purely cosmetic, why did I add them? I just like the way
they look! |
 |
The keyboard is placed on the wall
within easy reach when the flight yoke is attached. |
 |
Here is the new tower behind those
cables, connectors and wires, it's not as bad as it looks. I mounted a printer where the
old computer used to be, it's for printing configurations. The box like extension added
room for the rudder pedals. |

The cockpit with the new stick,
rudder pedals and throttle. This setup works great, not nearly as finicky as the X-36 set
up was. Thought about the Cougar but I'm extremely happy with this setup. |
 |
One thing I did do was to modify the
stick by mounting a small pad on the handrest. With my hand on the original rest I
had to slightly lift it for my thumb to reach the POV switch. The pad allows my thumb to
rest on the switch perfectly. |
 |
Here is a view of the center mounted
mouse pad, I can get to it with either hand now. It's mounted with velcro so I can place
it on my leg like a kneeboard when I'm using the yoke. |
