Take Me Home!

Blade Show 2002

May 31 - June 2
Atlanta GA

This was a terrific trip.  I saw people that I have been talking to online for up to 4 years! Atlanta was hot and sticky so we mostly stayed inside playing with pointy objects.  Great fun.

Hello, Atlanta!

The first person I knew that I ran into at the show was Gus. What a nice guy, he is. He didn't come out and party with us tho.

I found the most interesting people out on the dock. Here's Vince Ford, me and Bob Terzoula.

Kit Carson

Darrel, Ren and Ken b.s.'ing

I'm not sure who this is, but he said about 5 people kept asking him if his name was "veeg".

Ed Fowler and a customer

Kershaw guy

Ed (Esav). He told the greatest stories.

Ed and Ken C

Uh oh. Things can only get worse from here.

At least 50 knives were passed at the dinner table

Jeremy Reynolds and Kit Carson

Ken and his oh-so-dangerous butter knife. (With sheath, of course)

Dinner buds

Driving in Atlanta was challenging, Ken knows.

Mark looking at a CRKT

Me and Mark Huntington (markcid84)

Ken C (remster)

Me and Ed Fowler

Maurice, Yoda, Ken and Ren. I have no idea what they're looking at.

Me, stab1, and Pam. After they threw us out of "Saddles"

Menacing Maurice

Ren had a business meeting early the next morning, but i persuaded him to have one..more..beer.

Show us your knives!

Ken, who is still coherent. And Mo, who apparently isn't.

Ren tells the greatest stories!

Ren was singing a song here. Ask someone about it, it was hilarious. Ken has the video clip of it.

Rob Simonich.

Ren looking very intently...at something.

Ren had a lot of things to look at, evidently.

Jeremy Reynolds, sam hell, and some more late night revelers.

Rob Simonich. Guinness, anyone?

Yes, we're falling down.

Tom Carey and Yoda

Vince Ford, Bob Terzoula, and Rob Simonich on the dock.

This was my last look at the Blade Show, around 4 p.m. on Sunday.

Downtown Atlanta, on our way out of town.

*sniff...

A view of the clouds from the plane.

More clouds

Our plane had to circle Denver for an hour, due to hail...welcome home.
